Met Gala 2014: The Party

The Met Gala is such an amazing event each year bringing together the best of the best to celebrate and support fashion.  It's so much fun to see designers with musicians, actors, and models all coming together to put on some of the best gowns of the entire year.  The event benefits the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute with a ticket costing $25,000 for each guest.  This year's theme, Charles James: Beyond Fashion celebrates the prominent fashion designer from the 30's, 40's, and 50's and the exhibit features some of his amazing ball gowns that helped to give him the often used title of "America's First Couturier.
