favorite harry potter style moments

The final Harry Potter movie was released today and by now many of the biggest fans have already seen the end to this epic era.  I thought I would take today to celebrate the last 10 years of Potter films and show off some of my favorite style moments from the movies.

It will be back to normal next week on The Fashion Lily but for today and this weekend I am celebrating something that has meant so much to me with some of my favorite people on the planet, happy Harry Potter weekend everyone - now go see the movie (if you haven't already)!!!

(How cute are these two - even though Quidditch was in the first movie, the second movie gave us a better look at the uniforms)

(Movie 3 showed us for the first time a bit of a laid back style which allowed the kids to show off  their personality through their clothes)

(the Goblet of Fire gave us the Yule Ball and with it a chance for Hermione to stop everyone in their tracks.  I love seeing our favorite 3 all dressed up)

(Movie 5 brought us Luna Lovegood, her unique quirky personality and style brought so much to the books and films - I have always loved this cropped crochet jacket, it's totally believable that she might have made it herself)

(The rise and fall of Draco Malfoy was exhibited in Movie 6 - also we learned he looks gorgeous in all black perfectly tailored suits)

(Movie 7.1 was dominated by the trio and their 100 years of camping - even though it felt like they were in the wilderness for forever, I really enjoyed seeing them outside of their Hogwarts robes and really starting to turn into adults)
