look of the week - a closer view

I searched for a look I could get really excited about for this week and I realized I had already posted my favorites on Monday while reviewing the MTV Movie Awards fashion.  So I thought it might be fun to take a closer view at the hair and make-up that made each of these looks complete. 

I really love the general simplicity of the make-up of each these looks with slight smokey eyes and pink/neutral lips.  It is a classic look and works with all skin tones as well as face/eye shape.  The natural waves in the hair were exhibited on each celebrity and really helped to keep the looks young and fresh.  Next time you have an event, try a softened smokey eye, pink lip and some natural waves, guaranteed you will look great!
