collections - marc by marc jacobs resort 2012

As I mentioned in my collections post last week, Marc Jacobs is one of my favorite designers and his Marc by Marc Jacobs line always provides me with lots of inspiration and new items to add to my wishlist.  The Marc by Marc Jacobs Resort 2012 collection is no different and unlike many other collections there is not a single look I do not love.

He played with a lot of beautiful color including the floral print dress above as well as the bright red dress below.  The color continued through the collection winding it's way in via bold accessories.  I am also a huge fan of the use of black and white polka dots as seen below, they are used in a way that is not overwhelming and not too cutesy but totally fit as a balance to many of the more colorful looks, overall my favorite collection so far from this season.
