look of the week - cannes film festival

All of the celebrities are out and about in Cannes for the 64th annual film festival and that means great fashion is abound.  I was totally struck by the red and white stripe Armani Privé dress as seen on Zoe Saldana above.  It is slightly odd and yet beautifully ties in all of the spring trends with the infusion of red and pixelated, almost nautical stripes.

My runners up from the festival include Rachel McAdams in a simple yet feminine white dress from Maxime Simoens, Penelope Cruz in Stella McCartney who in no way looks like she just had a baby and Uma Thurman in a gorgeous white feathered Versace.  There are many more amazing day and evening looks continuing to come out of Cannes so follow my twitter and like my facebook page as I will surely be posting more of my favorites!
